சாத்தன் | Saattan | 5

தமிழ் மண்ணுக்குள் சிலை வழிபாட்டை முதன்முதல் கொண்டுவந்தது சமண சமயமே. பிற்காலக் கிளைச் சமையங்களின் இரண்டு பொண்டாட்டி கதைகளுக்கும் மூலம் சமணமே.

பூரணி, பொற்கலை சமேத ஐயன்/ஐயனார்/சாத்தன்/சாஸ்தாவே கொல்லாமையை போதிக்கும்
சமணத்தின் மூலக் கடவுள்.

சமணத்தின் தாக்கம் நம் வழிபாட்டில் உள்ளதென்று தமிழகத்தில் வாழும் சாத்தன் வழிபாட்டாளர்கள் உணர்வது நலம். காவல் கருப்புகளுக்கு பலியிட்டுப் படைப்பதே பழங்குடிகளிள் வழக்கம். பலியிடுவதை ஒருபோதும் நிறுத்திவிட வேண்டாம்.

The first religion to bring idol worship into Tamil soil is Sramana. Sramana is also the main source of "two wives story" of its' later religion branches.

Poorani Pushkala Samedha Aiyan/Aiyanar/Saattan/Shasta is the main deity of Sramana which preaches prohibition on killing.

Those who worship Saattan in Tamil Nadu should realize the impact of Sramana on our (Tamil people's Family Deity) worship. Giving sacrificial offering to Karuppu Sami is the custom of (Tamils) tribes. Please don't ever stop giving sacrificial offering to Karuppu Sami.
