அசோகர் | Ashoka | 2

இன்று இந்தியாவின் சின்னமாக இருக்கும் அசோகச் சின்னத்துக்கு, நம்ம தோச பக்தாள் எல்லாம் ஒரு விளக்கம் கொடுப்பாளே, அதாவது அசோகச் சக்ரவர்த்தி தான் இந்தியத் துணைக்கண்டத்தையே ஒன்றிணைத்ததாகவும், அதனால் இந்தியாவுக்கு இந்தச் சின்னம் பொருத்தமானதாக இருக்கும் என்பார்கள்.

இவர்கள் சொல்வது பொய் என்பதை மிக எளிதில் நிரூபிக்கமுடியும்.

1. மௌரியப் பேரரசன் அசோகன் என்றவனின் ஆளுமைக்கு உட்பட்ட பகுதிகளாகக் காட்டப்படும் வரைபடத்தில் தமிழகம் இடம்பெறாது! அசோகன் இன்றைய இந்தியாவை இணைக்கவேயில்லை என்பது இதன் மூலம் உறுதியாகிறது.

2. இது அசோகனின் சின்னமே அல்ல! பௌத்த மதத்தின் ஒரு சின்னம். பௌத்தம் எங்கெல்லாம் பரவியதோ அங்கெல்லாம் இச்சின்னமும் பரவியது. அம்மதத்தைத் தழுவிய அசோகனும் சாரநாத் என்ற இடத்தில் இதை வைக்க அனுமதித்திருப்பான்.

பௌத்தம் அரச சமயமாக இருந்த பல்லவர் ஆட்சியிலும், கண்டி நாயக்கர் ஆட்சியிலும் இச்சிங்கச் சின்னம் முக்கிய இடத்தைப் பெற்றிருந்தது. இன்று இலங்கையின் தேசியக் கொடியிலும் இதே சிங்கச் சின்னமே இடம்பெறுகிறது!

மேலுள்ள படத்தில் இருப்பது சீனாவில் இருக்கும் சிங்கச் சின்னம். சங்காய் நகரில் இது உள்ளது. சங்காய் ஒரு துறைமுக நகரமாகும். அங்கேயும் பௌத்தம் பரவியதால் இது அங்கும் சென்றது!

கடல் கடந்து பௌத்தத்தைப் பரப்பியது யாராக இருக்கும்?

Bakthals usually give an explanation on the symbol of India, which is originally the symbol of Ashoka, that the symbol is suitable for India because Ashoka is the only emperor who weld the diverse parts of Indian subcontinent into a single political unit.

It is very easy to prove that they are lying on this fact.

1. Tamil Nadu is not included in the map which shows all the land under Mauryan emperor Ashoka's governance. So, it is clear that Ashoka did not weld the whole part of current India.

2. This is not Ashoka's symbol at all. The symbol belongs to Buddhism. The symbol can be found wherever the Buddhism spread. Ashoka, who embraced Buddhism is also should have allowed the symbol to be placed in Sarnath.

The lion symbol had a prominent place in both Pallava and Nayaks of Kandy's rule, which followed Buddhism as the official religion. The same lion symbol is now on the flag of Sri Lanka.

The image above shows the lion symbol in China. It's in the city of Shanghai. Since Shanghai is a port city, Buddhism is also spread through there easily which brought the lion symbol together.
