கண்டி நாயக்கர்கள் | Nayaks of Kandy | 1

திருப்பதி என்னும் வேங்கட மலையில் இருப்பவன் வைணவன் இல்லை. அது வைணவ கோவிலும் அல்ல. அது சமண தீர்த்தங்கரர்களின் ஒருவனான பார்சுவநாதனின் கோவில்.

சமண தீர்த்தங்கரரான ஆதிநாதன் எப்படி சைவத்தில் சிவனாக மாற்றப்பட்டாரோ அதே போல மற்றொரு தீர்த்தங்கரரான பார்சுவநாதன் வைணவத்தில் திருமாலாக மாற்றப்பட்டார். (ஆதாரம் நாளை பதிவிடப்படும்.)

வேங்கடத்து நெடியோன் என்று இந்த திருப்பதியில் இருப்பவனை பற்றி சிலப்பதிகாரத்தில் சில வர்ணனையும் வருகிறது. வேங்கடத்தில் நிற்கும் அந்த சமணணின் வழி வந்தவர்கள் தான் இன்று வரை இலங்கையில் நடக்கும் அனைத்து பிரச்சனைக்கும் இனப்படுகொலைக்கும் காரணமானவர்கள்.

இலங்கையில் எந்த ஒரு முக்கிய முடிவுகள் எடுப்பது என்றாலும் இந்த கண்டி நாயக்க வழி வந்த தெலுங்கர்கள் இங்கு வந்துதான் உத்தரவு வாங்கி செல்கிறார்கள். மேலும், தென்னிலங்கையில் மிகப்பெரிய கலாச்சார மாற்றத்தை நிகழ்த்தி அம்மண்ணின் மைந்தர்களை "சிங்கலா"-வாக மாற்றியது கண்டி வடுகர்களே ஆவர்.

The God who is residing in the Venkata Hills is not a Vaishnavite. It is not a Vaishnava temple as well. It is a temple of Parshvanatha, one of the Jain Tirthankaras.

As the Jain Tirthankara, Adinatha was transformed into Lord Shiva in Shaivism, the same way, another Tirthankara named Parshvanatha was transformed into in Lord Thirumal in Vaishnavism. (The evidence will be posted tomorrow)

Silappatikaram elucidate him as "Venkatathu Nediyon" (a deity named Nediyon in Venkata Hills). The descendants of this Jain, who is standing in Venkata Hills are the main reason for all the problems and genocides in Sri Lanka.

Whatever important decisions are to be made in Sri Lanka, these Telugu people who are descendants of the Kandy Nayaks, will came to this temple first to get the orders. Moreover, these same Kandy Nayaks (Vadugas) are the group of people who made tremendous cultural changes in Southern Province of Sri Lanka to convert the aboriginal people of the land into "sinhala".
