முருக வழிபாடு | Murugan Worship

முருக வழிபாடு என்பது குறிஞ்சி நிலப் பழங்குடிகளின் நடுகல் வழிபாடே!

அதற்கான ஆதாரம் பொள்ளாச்சி அருகே உள்ள வால்பாறை மலையில் உள்ள நல்ல முடிப்பூஞ்சோலை. அங்கு இன்னும் முருக வழிபாடு நடுகல் வழிபாடாகவே உள்ளது.

முருகன் என்பது குறிஞ்சித் திணை சார் போர் வீரர்களையும் அக்குடிகளின் குலதெய்வத்தையும் குறிக்கும் பொதுவான பெயர். அதனால் தான் இன்றும் குறிஞ்சித் திணை குடிகள் முருக வழிபாட்டை நடுகல் வழிபாடாகவே செய்கிறார்கள்.

உண்மை நிலை இப்படிருக்க பழினி, திருப்பரங்குன்றம் மற்றும் பழமுதிர்ச்சோலை முதலிய குன்றுகளில் சமணக் கோலத்தில் இருக்கும் சமணன் யார்?

குன்றிருக்கும் இடமெல்லாம் குமரனிருப்பான் சரி தான். குன்றுகள் எப்போது குறிஞ்சியானது?

குன்றுக்கும் குறிஞ்சிக்கும் கூடவா வேறுபாடில்லை?

குன்றில் உள்ளவன் எப்படி எம் குறிஞ்சியின் தலைவன் ஆனான்?

ஆண்டிக் கோலத்தில் இருக்கும் சமணனை முப்பாட்டன் என அழைப்பதை விட நமக்கு அசிங்கம் வேறெதுவும் இல்லை.

முருகன் என்பது முருகு என்ற சொல்லின் திரிபாகவே இருக்கும். முருகு என்பது போர் வீரனையும் குறிஞ்சிக் குடிகளின் குலதெய்வத்தையும் குறிக்கும் போது முருகன் என்பது மட்டும் எப்படி அழகன் ஆனது?

அதற்கு காரணம் தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களுக்கு விளக்கவுரை எழுதியவர்களே!

கொடியேற்றம் கொண்ட சூரிய வழிபாட்டு தளமான பழினிக் குன்றில் இருப்பவன் நமக்கு முப்பாட்டன் எனில், வால்பாறை மலையில் இயற்கையோடு இயற்கையாக உள்ள முருகன் யார்?

வால்பாறை மலைப்பகுதி குறிஞ்சியா? அல்லது பழினி என்ற குன்றுதான் நமது சங்க இலக்கியம் கூறும் குறிஞ்சியா?

இந்து முன்னணி ராமனை தூக்கிப் பிடிப்பதற்கும் நாம் முருகனை தூக்கிப் பிடிப்பதற்கும் எந்த வேறுபாடும் இல்லை.

அங்கு பார்பான் வழிநடத்துகிறான். இங்கு சைவன் வழிநடத்துகிறான். இறுதியில் இரண்டு வழிகளும் ஒரே இடத்திற்கே சென்றடையும் (பெருங் கோயில்கள்)!

நம் கண் முன்னே சைவ-வைணவப் போட்டி நடந்து கொண்டுள்ளது. அதையறியாமல் முப்பாட்டன் முருகப் பெருந்தகை என்றும் நாம் சைவர் என்றும் பரப்புரை செய்து கொண்டுள்ளோம்.

கொற்றவை சிவனாக மாற்றப்பட்டாள். குலதெய்வக் கோவில்களில் ஐயனார் புகுத்தப்பட்டான். அதே போல குறிஞ்சி முருகு குன்றிலிருக்கும் முருகனாக்கப்பட்டான்.

இவையனைத்தும் குலதெய்வ வழிபாட்டை சிதைத்து பலி கொடுக்கும் வழக்கத்தை நிறுத்தி நம்மை பெருங்கோயிலிற்கு நகர்த்தி நம் பொருளாதாரத்தை சுரண்ட நம்மீது திணிக்கப்பட்டவை.

Murugan worship is the hero stone worship of the "kurinji" (mountainous region) tribal people!

The proof for this can be seen at Nallamudi Poonjolai, Valparai. Murugan worship there is still practiced in the form of hero stone worship.

Murugan is the common name given to the warriors of the kurinji land and their Tutelary Deity. That is why (tribal) people of kurinji still practicing Murugan worship in the form of hero stone worship.

So, who is the Jain idol in the appearance of a Jain monk at the hills of Palani, Thiruparankundram and Pazhamudircholai?

The saying, "wherever the hills are, there will be Kumaran" is right, but since when the hills become kurinji land?

Is there no difference between hills and kurinji?

How someone in the hills became my leader in Kurinji?

There is no other shameful thing for us than calling a Jain monk as our forefather.

Thw word murugu should have been misrepresented as murugan. Since the word murugu is a common name of the warriors of kurinji land and their Tutelary Deity, how come the word Murugan can refer to handsome?

That's because of the writers who wrote scholium of Tamil literature!

If he, who's at the temple on Palani hills is our forefather, then who is at the Valparai mountain, living with the nature?

Which is the kurinji land according to our Sangam literature, Valparai mountains or Palani hills?

There is no difference between Hindu Munnani who is celebrating Rama and we, Tamil people who is celebrating Murugan.

There, Brahmins leads and here Saivites leads, that's all. Both of these will bring us to the same place at last, the big temples!

The clash of Shaivism-Vaishnavism is going on in front of our eyes. Without aware of this fact, we keep on saying Murugan as our forefather and claiming ourselves as Saivites.

They converted Korravai into Lord Shiva. They imposed Aiyanar in our Tutelary & Family Deity temples. Similarly, they converted our Murugu of Kuriji land into Murugan.

All of these have been imposed on us to distort our Tutelary & Family Deity worship by stopping us from giving sacrificial offering to them, then moving us towards the big temples to exploit our economy or wealth.
